Mr Stratfold’s School for Monsters is famous. Grown up monsters from all over the world send their little monsters to him. They do this when their little monsters are not as scary or as naughty as they should be.
It is easy to spot Mr Stratfold. He looks different from the monsters because they have lots of hair and he only has one. It goes from his bald, shiny head right down to his shiny black shoes. Like everything else in the world, this makes him very angry.
Every morning Mr Stratfold paints his head with glue. Then he folds up the hair and presses it onto his bald, sticky head. On a good day it looks as though Mr Stratfold has three hairs and not just one.
“You horrible little monsters,” he shouts, as soon as the glue is dry. And then he stomps about all day being angry until it’s time to go to bed.
